Carlisle Schools' Partnership
Our school is a part of Carlisle Schools' Partnership. We work with other schools in our cluster to improve the education for all of our children. It's not just the headteachers who meet up regularly. Coordinators of different subjects meet to share good practice, resources and ideas.
School Direct
We work with Carlisle Schools' Partnership and the University of Cumbria to help deliver the School Direct Programme.
Outstanding Teacher Programme
Newlaithes Nursery & Infant School is licensed by Olevi to deliver the Outstanding Teacher Programme and the Improving Teacher Programme. Suitable for colleagues from secondary and primary schools, these programmes were initially created as part of the London Challenge. Olevi worked with the National College for Teaching and School Leadership to develop these programmes to improve teaching within schools.

Local Leader of Education
In February 2015 Mrs Willows was designated a Local Leader of Education (LLE). This means she can support other schools or headteachers in areas of school improvement.
