At Newlaithes Nursery and Infant School, we work alongside One Cumbria and The University of Cumbria to support the next generation of teachers! Hosting students for teaching placements is a fantastic way to share our expertise while giving trainees hands-on experience in the classroom. We believe in nurturing students, offering practical insights into teaching, and creating a warm, welcoming environment where future educators can grow in confidence and skill.
Carlisle Schools' Partnership
Our school is a part of Carlisle Schools' Partnership. We work with other schools in our cluster to improve the education for all of our children. It's not just the headteachers who meet up regularly. Coordinators of different subjects meet to share good practice, resources and ideas.
